Good internatonal phone August 15, 2010 Maia (Reno, NV USA) A good choice if you want to a good basic phone that works for international travel and has a qwerty keyboard.
Note: When mine came I plugged it in to charge the battery, but it would not seem to charge. I thought either the battery or the charger were defective. Then I discovered that the battery was fully charged.
Phone doesn't work after 4 days August 14, 2010 Thomas Percell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered 2 of these phones based on the user feedback. Hands down, nobody can argue with the phones sleek look and messaging system. Only problem is.....after 4 days one of the phones does not work any more. I cannot hear or answer calls that come in. Both voice and speaker do not work. I am trying to get in touch with the provider and hope that they will respond based on this comment.
Cell Phone August 12, 2010 Vicki Ware 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love my new phone. It was very easy to use straight out of the box. I love the numbers on the side and how easy it is to slide and use the keyboard. You would love this phone.
Question.... August 1, 2010 Chris 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Hello everyone, you see I'm interested on this phone how ever before I buy it [...] I wanted to know if it's included: the battery, charger and the head phone set. Also that when it says unlocked it means that it can be used with any chip of any phone company.
Please, if you buy it in amazon please help me with these doubts
Thanks and regards,
Batteries hard to find.. July 30, 2010 Hostilia (Charm City, MD) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received the phone two weeks ago with a dead battery (NB: I did not buy it on amazon!). I thought it couldn't be too much of a problem to buy a new battery, but that turned out to be more complicated than I thought.. 1) Samsung does not give you ANY information on what type of battery the phone needs - just says "standard" in the instruction manual/website info. 2) This "standard" battery is hard to find in the US - I had to order it via ebay from a dealer in Hong Kong. My old phone is a Samsung and I was quite happy with it - but if this company can't be bothered to give me detailed information on the spare parts I need, I won't be bothered to buy from them again. Oh, just in case you were wondering.. the battery is called AB483640BU.
